American rapper A$AP Rocky was acquitted by a Los Angeles court on Tuesday in his trial for assault with a semi-automatic weapon.
Born Rakim Mayers, the 36-year-old artist, who has two children with singer Rihanna, was on trial for shooting a former friend in 2021 in Hollywood and faced more than 20 years in prison if convicted .
