TICAD : vers une signature pour la construction d’une annexe du CFPT-SJ
Senegal and Japan will sign an agreement for the construction of an annex to the Senegal-Japan Vocational and Technical Training Center (CFPT-SJ) in Diamniadio, according to a press release received from the presidency.
During a meeting, President Bassirou Diomaye Diakhar Faye and Japanese Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba highlighted the excellent relations between Senegal and Japan. These, the statement emphasizes, are based on exemplary bilateral cooperation, historical ties, and shared values such as peace, democracy, respect for the rule of law, and international law.
"In this context, an agreement will be signed for the construction of an annex to the Senegal-Japan Vocational and Technical Training Center (CFPT-SJ) in Diamniadio, and other agreements will follow in the coming days. This meeting opened new perspectives for mutually beneficial cooperation, heralding an even stronger and more fruitful partnership," the text states.
"The Head of State called for strengthening cooperation in strategic areas such as training, health, water, fisheries, as well as peace and security. He particularly emphasized training as a major pillar of development, emphasizing that Japan's success demonstrates that the quality of human resources is the key to progress," the same source said.
