Agressions sexuelles sur des bébés à l’hôpital de Montreuil : l’infirmière maintenue sous contrôle judiciaire
The nurse charged in connection with the case of sexual assaults on babies at Montreuil hospital has been placed under judicial supervision following a ruling handed down this Thursday by the investigating chamber of the Paris Court of Appeal, CNEWS learned from a judicial source.
In a ruling handed down this Thursday, August 14, following the appeal lodged by the Bobigny public prosecutor's office on August 6, the investigating chamber of the Paris Court of Appeal confirmed the decision to place under judicial supervision the nurse charged in the case of sexual assaults on babies at the Montreuil hospital (Seine-Saint-Denis), CNEWS learned from a judicial source.
The nurse and her accomplice had in fact been placed under judicial supervision, contrary to the demands of the Bobigny public prosecutor's office. It was then that the public prosecutor decided to appeal this decision.
Justice Minister Gérald Darmanin himself condemned the placement of the two accused under judicial supervision, stating that the acts they committed "deeply shock the French people and that we owe protection to children."
Montreuil Hospital to file civil suit in possible trial
The 26-year-old woman went to the Clichy-sous-Bois police station in the same department on Wednesday evening, July 30, to report the acts she allegedly committed, which also implicated a 28-year-old man with whom she was in a relationship.
The nurse had told the police that she had been under the influence of this man. The investigation began following the circulation on the TikTok platform of videos warning of "a scandal in a hospital in the 93rd arrondissement." In these videos, a man claimed that "two people who work with infants (...) are having fun mistreating Black children," before adding that it was "sexual in nature."
The Bobigny prosecutor's office denied the presence of a "racial character in the act, one of the children is white, the other black." For its part, the hospital told CNEWS that it would file a civil suit in a possible trial.
