Kseniya Alexandrova, 30, had been hospitalized for several weeks after a moose crashed through the windshield of her vehicle in the Tver region of Russia. She died from severe brain injuries.
According to her husband, the animal jumped onto the road the couple were taking to return home to Rzhev. The collision could not be avoided, and the young model, who was riding in the passenger seat, was seriously injured.
"Only a fraction of a second passed between the moment he jumped and the impact. I didn't have time to do anything," Kseniya Alexandrova's husband told the Russian newspaper Rossiyskaya Gazeta.
He reports that motorists stopped after the accident to help them while they waited for help. The thirty-year-old was taken to hospital in serious condition. She died of her injuries three weeks later. Kseniya Alexandrova leaves behind a family and a husband she recently married.

The thirty-year-old's modeling agency paid tribute to her in an Instagram post on August 15.
"Kseniya was brilliant and talented. She knew how to inspire, support, and bring warmth to everyone around her. For us, she will forever remain a symbol of beauty, kindness, and inner strength," the agency wrote. "We sincerely mourn her passing and express our deepest condolences to her family, friends, and all those who were fortunate enough to know Kseniya."
