Claudia Tagbo atteinte d'un cancer : face aux messages haineux, elle se confie comme rarement
Claudia Tagbo has been through a lot. At the age of 30, the actress was notably affected by breast cancer . "It started as a joke. One day, I went to the doctor because of a bad cold and I said to him: 'Well, apart from that, that's it, I'm 30, the age to start tests, screenings. Have me do a mammogram. He replied: 'Um... OK, if you want.' So when something was discovered in me, I didn't believe it. […] At the time, I was at the Jamel Comedy Club. For people who didn't know me, it was a start, a spotlight," she confided to RoseUp in 2015. At the time, the actress received significant support that allowed her to "rehearse, act, run and go for [her] treatments. In addition, my father, my mother, my brothers and sisters were all there ."
Claudia Tagbo: "It's a fight"
Between "surgery, radiotherapy, curettage" and a partial removal of a breast, Claudia Tagbo had to face several treatments. A difficult period that she wanted to return to in 2024 on Auféminin.
"We're in the unknown, we're afraid, of course. We ask ourselves a whole bunch of questions. Going through chemo, reconstruction, all these stages, we experience them as we go. The big part of healing is above all accepting the fact of being sick. It's a fight that you're going to lead yourself, all alone, facing the disease. Even if you have good support and the breast cancer is well managed, […] it's an intimate thing. I was lucky that I was supported. I had a man in my life. […] I was surrounded by a lot of love, so it went smoothly. This ordeal taught me to carry a lot of things. We are not immortal," she explained.
Critics at the worst time
This Sunday, August 17, 2025, it was in the Boum Boum podcast that Claudia Tagbo once again spoke about this ordeal. In addition to the illness, the one who broke the silence on her fiery kiss with Alain Delon received particularly violent messages like: " Too bad she's not dead." "At the time, I cried. How can you say that? Then afterward I told myself that it's someone behind their screen, who doesn't know you and doesn't know what you're going through... From the moment you can do that, it's time to disconnect. You take a step back and you say to yourself, 'What's going on in his life for him to write that?' Because you still have to write it! [...] He must have been really upset," she declared. Painful revelations.
