Khadidiatou Tandia is currently in the basement of the Dakar courthouse, awaiting her judicial fate, according to Kewoulo. Formerly implicated in a passport trafficking case at ASEPEX, she recently attempted to impose herself on the Investment Support Fund for Senegalese Abroad (FAISE) as "Director of Investment and Project Support." During an audience with the Director General, Khoureychi Thiam, she brandished a letter supposedly signed by Prime Minister Ousmane Sonko, demanding her appointment to this position.

Alerted by her suspicious behavior and past involvement with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the police ordered her arrest. Khadidiatou Tandia and her alleged accomplice, Chérif Zeynil Abidin Sy, were arrested for forgery and use of forged public documents, as well as for complicity. After being taken into custody, they were brought before the prosecutor's office on March 14, 2025, marking a turning point in this incredible affair.
