4600 policiers déployés à Touba : Le DG Mame Seydou Ndour annonce un camp du GMI et un nouveau commissariat
The Director General of the National Police (DGPN) was received by the General Khalifa of the Mourides, Serigne Mountakha Mbacké. Inspector Mame Seydou Ndour then visited Serigne Bassirou Mbacké Abdou Khadr.
The head of the national police said that 4,600 bloodhounds are mobilized to ensure good security coverage.
He announced the establishment of outposts as well as a medical post to consult and treat pilgrims free of charge.
The DGPN announced the construction of a new police station in Touba on the road to Darou Mouhty. Work is currently underway, he said. Mame Seydou Ndour expressed his willingness to establish a Mobile Intervention Group camp.
