Sécurité de proximité : 512 agents radiés en formation de réintégration pour renforcer la sécurité de proximité
Previously dismissed community security agents (ASP), 512 in number, began reintegration training on Monday, August 18 at the Captain Mbaye Diagne No. 7 tactical training center in Thiès.
This session, which aims to give these agents a second chance and strengthen their role in the national security system, will end on September 18, 2025.
The training, designed to be both rigorous and technical, is supervised by a team of professionals seconded from the gendarmerie, firefighters, and police. It includes modules on civic, moral, and legal training aimed at equipping these officers with the skills necessary to serve the nation.
For Amsata Samba Ndiaye, ASP training director, the objective is to make these agents true "models in the service of the nation", by combining theoretical teaching and practical exercises.
Only ASPs who have been removed, identified, listed, and declared fit after a medical examination participate in this special session. This reinstatement marks the opening of a new chapter for these agents who are committed to strengthening local security in the field.
