After three days of preparation for the 5th day of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers, the Lions left Dakar this Thursday for Benghazi (Libya) where they will face Sudan on Saturday, March 22, at 7 p.m.
Kalidou Koulibaly and his partners took off from Blaise Diagne International Airport in Diass early in the afternoon, with a large delegation made up of members of the Senegalese Football Federation and the Ministry of Sports.
The Nile Crocodiles, who occupy first place in Group B with 10 points, are hosting Libya due to the instability in Sudan. The Lions are second with 8 points.
