Iran : L’OTAN est-elle déjà entrée en guerre ?

We are on the 14th day of the war declared by Israel and the United States against Iran. The strikes by the American army and the IDF have not weakened, nor have those by Iran, determined not to capitulate to the firepower of Uncle Sam and his Jewish ally.

Tehran is using every means at its disposal and is striking countries in the region that host American bases, namely Qatar, Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Oman, and Iraq. Even Turkey is not spared.

Missile "neutralized by NATO air and missile defense elements"

Indeed, multiple sources have reported ballistic missile launches against the Eurasian country. So far, three of these missiles have been fired into Turkish airspace. The latest, launched yesterday, Thursday, March 12, from Iran, was "neutralized by NATO air and missile defense elements deployed in the Eastern Mediterranean," the Turkish Ministry of Defense stated in a press release.

He adds that "all necessary measures are being taken firmly against all threats targeting Turkish territory and airspace and discussions are underway with (Iran) to clarify all aspects of the incident."

It should be noted that the two previous missiles fired into Turkish airspace had also been destroyed by NATO.

Recep Tayyip Erdogan's country hosts a major NATO base at Incirlik. This base has been used for decades by American troops and other countries.

Iran, it seems, must be careful not to pick a fight with Turkey.

By intercepting these three missiles fired from Iranian territory towards Turkey, NATO appears to be engaging in a defensive war against Tehran.

The Islamic Republic would be well advised not to pick a fight with Turkey, since an attack against that country will ultimately lead to a collective reaction from the other NATO members.

Tehran has so far denied firing missiles toward Turkey. During a telephone conversation with his Turkish counterpart last Monday, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian denied his country's involvement in the attacks.
