TGI de Pikine-Guédiawaye : Bineta mécanicienne et ses 14 co-prévenus condamnés mais libérés
The Pikine-Guédiawaye High Court delivered its verdict this Friday, January 23, 2026, in the case of the fifteen people arrested by the Keur Massar Territorial Brigade for various offenses. According to Seneweb sources, Bineta, a mechanic, and her 14 co-defendants were sentenced to two years' imprisonment, suspended. They will thus be released.
During the trial, the prosecutor of Pikine-Guédiawaye considered that the facts presented a particular gravity, mentioning a concerted action, the involvement of minors and the operation of an apartment without administrative authorization.
He had requested a guilty verdict for all the defendants and sought two years of imprisonment for Amadou Woury Diallo, Oumar Diallo, Aïda Souaré, Fallou Diop and Binta Sarr.
Regarding the other defendants, the prosecution had requested a two-year prison sentence, including six months of mandatory imprisonment, along with a fine of 200,000 CFA francs. The prosecution had also requested the closure of the apartment in question.
As a reminder, the Keur Massar Territorial Brigade had arrested fifteen people, including B. Sarr, alias Bineta mechanic, for association of criminals, abduction of a minor, incitement of minors to debauchery and complicity, failure to operate a furnished apartment without authorization, acts against nature, possession of bladed weapons, violence and assault, fraud and endangering the lives of others.
All the defendants had been presented to prosecutor Saliou Dicko, head of the Pikine-Guédiawaye prosecutor's office, before being imprisoned.
