Bakel : un malien arrêté pour apologie du terrorisme via sept groupes WhatsApp, son téléphone parle
The Tambacounda gendarmerie's research section dismantled a network disseminating jihadist content on WhatsApp after the arrest of an individual in Bakel. According to L'Observateur, the suspect is Hndebé Key, also known as Bara Guillé or Obama, of Malian origin. He was apprehended in the village of Sinthiou Dialinguel, in the commune of Bélé.
Analysis of his mobile phone confirmed suspicions: numerous terrorist propaganda videos glorified attacks carried out in the Sahel region. Investigators also established that the suspect was in regular contact with Boubou Sow, one of the main administrators based in Mali, the same source added.
The newspaper of the Future Media Group (GFM) adds that the investigation revealed the existence of at least seven WhatsApp groups administered by the same individuals, of which Hndebé Key is the only one with a Senegalese phone number. These groups exclusively disseminated videos and audio recordings glorifying terrorism and justifying the actions of armed groups operating in the Sahel.
The largest, "Iba International 24/24", had 454 members, including nine Senegalese, and favoured the Fulani language. Its content glorified violence and the manufacture of improvised explosive devices, often under the pretext of disagreements with the countries of the Alliance of Sahel States (AES).
During his interrogation, the suspect admitted to being the administrator of the seven groups, but downplayed his activities, claiming he only wanted to raise awareness among the Fulani about the "stigmatization" they felt they were subjected to by the member states of the Economic and Social Agency (ESA). He denied any direct support for jihadist movements.
Despite his denials, the overwhelming evidence found on his phone led to his being brought before the prosecutor of the Tambacounda High Court for advocating terrorism, concludes the Gfm headline.

Je connais bien Sinthiou Dialinguel,près de Kidira,sur la route de Bakel,après "Petit Paris".
La surveillance doit être de mise de Bakel a Kidira ,jusqu a Saraya et Kedougou.
D ailleurs ,de Gathiary aux Diouras le long de la Frontière jusqu a Moussala,Boboti,Gueledijé...tout ce corridor est à surveiller Absolument.
