Approvisionnement en carburant au Mali : Le Centre de gestion des crises annonce une bonne nouvelle
In Mali, fuel supplies experienced a slight slowdown during the week of December 8-14, causing queues at service stations in some areas. In a statement released on Thursday, December 18, the Crisis Coordination and Management Center (CECOGEC) announced the resumption this week of regular convoys of fuel tanker trucks, thanks to the determination of the armed and security forces.
"Urgent measures are being taken to resupply as many service stations as possible."
"Nearly 350 tankers have been received at the customs petroleum products office and the country's fuel supply continues normally," the Center reports.
"Urgent measures are being taken to supply as many service stations as possible," he continued, while also urging "the public to remain calm and not give in to panic."
The press release states that it was due to "strategic operations on certain road axes that the volume of hydrocarbon supply to the country experienced this slight slowdown" last week.
