Will Cameroon's President Paul Biya succeed in winning his eighth presidential election? We'll know soon enough. Presidential elections are scheduled for October 12 in the Central African country.
The 92-year-old president is supported by his party, the Cameroon People's Democratic Movement (CPDM), and other unsuspected figures such as Samuel Eto'o.
“I will not vote for Paul Biya. Don’t vote for Paul Biya,…”
This is undoubtedly good news for him, given the former FC Barcelona star's aura. What will be less pleasing to him are the recent statements made by his daughter Brenda Biya. Indeed, the 27-year-old gay woman called on people not to vote for her father in a TikTok video.
"I will not vote for Paul Biya. Don't vote for Paul Biya, not because of me, but because he has made enough people suffer. I really hope there will be another president," Brenda said in the recording, which has since been removed from the social network.
The president's daughter also said in the video that she had cut ties with her family, who allegedly abused her. "I am cutting ties with my parents. All my life, they have hurt me and now I realize that they want to kill me (...) that I am dying of an overdose," she said.

Aamiine !
