Conakry : Le rappeur guinéen MC Fresh victime d’une violente agression à la plage de Camayenne
The Guinean urban scene is in turmoil this Sunday afternoon. Young rapper MC Fresh, considered one of the rising stars of Guinean rap, was violently attacked on Camayenne beach, according to several accounts and videos that have gone viral on social media, particularly on Meta (Facebook).
According to initial reports, the artist was allegedly attacked by a group of individuals while he was relaxing at the beach. The altercation quickly escalated into a collective physical assault, before several people on the beach intervened.
Sources close to the urban scene indicate that controversial posts, circulated a few hours earlier on social media, could be the source of the tensions. This content put MC Fresh at odds with certain figures in the Guinean music scene.
The artist has not yet officially responded to the attack, but relatives say he was taken for treatment after the incident.
An investigation could be opened to identify the perpetrators of this attack, which has rekindled the debate on violence in the Guinean showbiz world and the rise of rivalries on social networks.
