“Je ne serai plus candidat” : Gbagbo annonce la fin d’une ère
Laurent Gbagbo gave an interview to journalist Alain Foka on Wednesday. In this interview, he discussed his political future after the failed 2025 presidential election.
The former Ivorian president announced that he intends to soon turn the page on active political life. "I must lead the party until we get out of all this hubbub. Our congress will be held after the legislative elections, and then I will resign. I will no longer be a candidate for the leadership of the party," he declared.
Laurent Gbagbo explains that he now wants to devote himself to his personal life. "I'm going to take my time for myself, for my little family. I'm going to live a little," he confides serenely.
At 81, the president of the PPACI believes it is time to pass the baton: "There are times when you have to know when to stop certain things."

"Je vais vivre un peu". Et pendant ce temps, il y a des centaines de morts innocents qui sont ce moment sous la terre et qui ne sont plus en vie depuis 2011, la date où Laurent bagdo a refusé sa défaite qui a conduit à un chaos en côte d'Ivoire.
