Le cri du cœur de l’épouse du journaliste Marouane Camara : “Mon mari reste introuvable. On n’est toujours pas situé sur son cas”
CONAKRY – On the sidelines of the International Day to End Impunity for Crimes against Journalists, commemorated this Sunday, November 2, Mariama Lamarana Diallo, wife of Guinean journalist Habib Marouane Camara, issued a heartfelt plea. Her husband, abducted on December 3, 2024, has been missing for nearly a year, with no official information released about his fate.
Habib Marouane Camara, known for his outspoken criticism of the government, has not been heard from since his abduction. His disappearance continues to plunge his family into anguish and despair.
“It will soon be a year! We still have no news of journalist Habib Marouane Camara. On this date of November 2nd, which marks the International Day to End Impunity for Crimes against Journalists, I would like to remind the national and international community that my husband remains missing. We still have no information on his case,” said Mariama Lamarana Diallo.
The young woman speaks with pain of the void left by the absence of her husband: “Days without him, nights without him, intense moments without him,” she testifies, her voice full of emotion.
Faced with this heavy silence, Mariama wonders about the real meaning of commemorating this day dedicated to the fight against impunity: "Is it really the end of this impunity that we are celebrating today?", she asks.
Despite the suffering and the endless waiting, the journalist's wife remains hopeful and faithful. “For now, I remain convinced of only one thing: as long as I can, I will never admit defeat. Certainly, the hardest part is over, but I am convinced that one day, the story will be told. The strength lies with God, not with humankind. God willing,” she concludes.

Pourquoi les hommes politiques sénégalais ne tentent-ils pas de médiation avec les autorités de Conakry ou les panafricanistes concernant la manière dont les gens sont réduits en esclavage ?
