Mali : L’ex-premier ministre Moussa Mara condamné
In Mali, Moussa Mara, the former Prime Minister, was sentenced this Monday by the National Cybercrime Control Centre (PNLC) Court. He was sentenced to two (2) years in prison, one (1) year of which was suspended, and a fine of 500,000 CFA francs. He will also have to pay a symbolic one franc to the State.
According to his lawyer, Mr. Mountaga Tall, "the defense will file an appeal today." "Moussa Mara cannot therefore be released," he said, assuring that the former head of government "remained calm." He was prosecuted for "undermining the credibility of the state" and "opposition to legitimate authority."
