[Billet d'humour] Biya, “le contineng” au cœur
Yesterday, while in some countries people were enthusiastically commenting on the only leaked report from their polling station, in Cameroon, people were counting down the years of the master's reign. On October 12, voters once again went to the polls, with suspense worthy of a film we've already seen thirty times. Paul Biya, 92 years old, running for his eighth term, displays a longevity that would make a baobab tree blush and a tortoise pale. Since 1982, he has ruled without coffee breaks, without vacations, without retirement.
The most fascinating thing is that everyone is playing along. Ministers, supporters, state media, even the weather forecast, all seem convinced that time has no hold on him. In Yaoundé, they no longer say “long live the president,” they say “long live the national heritage.” The presidential chair, however, should be classified as a historical monument, given that it has never changed hands.
Biya votes with his cane, a calm smile. Beside him, his wife Chantal, with her 5G hairdo, captures the future before anyone else. And while we wait for the results, the government warns that it is forbidden to announce them before the Constitutional Council. In short, even the numbers must wait their turn.
If he wins again, he'll be 99 years old at the end of his term. At that age, elsewhere, candles are blown out. There, people take the oath of office. And no one dares ask how he's doing, because talking about his health is like criticizing a saint. The man is sacred, immortal, and comes with unlimited Wi-Fi.
Youssou Ndour said that "the black man loves power too much." In Cameroon, it's no longer love, it's a total fusion. The president doesn't leave power, he downloads himself into it. He will exercise power until the last stick, provided that it pleases the citizens of the "continent"!

Au Sénégal je sais que depuis abdoulaye Wade figure de l'opposition là jeunesse segalaise à fait comprendre aux politiciens que un président ne doit pas dépasser les 50 ans pour être elu
