VJ, the young prodigy of Senegalese music, has just released his new music video, "Jeune Mara." It's a gift for his fans and music lovers, where he sings his praises and talks about his musical talent. In less than 24 hours, the video has garnered over 63,700 views on YouTube.

In this work, the man nicknamed "Cardiologist" promises to demonstrate his expertise with the upcoming release of an album and a concert on December 29, 2025 at the Grand Théâtre de Dakar.

A favorite among young girls, VJ has made a name for himself on the Senegalese music scene. He started singing at the age of 13. At 17, he made a splash with his first single, "Dans tes bras" (In Your Arms), a hit song. Thanks to his already established following on social media, he managed to organize a sold-out concert with only a few songs to his credit.

In 2022, VJ released his first EP (Extended Play) entitled "En Vrai", thus solidifying his presence on the Senegalese music scene. Subsequently, the young artist continued his success by filling the country's biggest stages, such as the esplanade of the Grand Théâtre de Dakar, the Canal Olympia, and the esplanade of the Museum of Black Civilizations.

In 2023, VJ will take another step forward by signing with Warner Music's Rec 118 label, in collaboration with Hoside and BLZ.

VJ has established himself as a key figure in the Senegalese music scene, recognized for his innovative spirit and exceptional performances.

 

The young singer will perform on December 29, 2025 at the esplanade of the Grand Théâtre Doudou Ndiaye Coumba Rose in Dakar.
