Youssou Ndour nominé aux Grammy awards : La réaction officielle du ministère de la Culture
Youssou Ndour announced yesterday, Friday, that his album "Éclairer le monde" has been nominated for the 68th Grammy Awards. For the Ministry of Culture, Crafts, and Tourism, this represents significant recognition of the artistic excellence and universal appeal of Senegalese music.
"It testifies to the exceptional talent of Youssou Ndour, cultural ambassador of our nation, and to his continuous contribution to the influence of Senegal on the world stage," the Ministry of Culture said in its press release.
The ministry warmly congratulated Youssou Ndour on this new distinction, which honors the entire Senegalese cultural sector. "We express our support and best wishes for success at the upcoming ceremony," it stated.
