Assemblée nationale : Le budget 2026 du Ministère des Finances et du Budget adopté

The 2026 budget of the Ministry of Finance and Budget (MFB) was adopted this Saturday, December 13, 2025, in a plenary session by the National Assembly. Of the 165 registered members of parliament, 131 participated in the vote, including 17 by proxy. The draft budget was approved by 128 votes in favor, none against, and 3 abstentions, confirming broad parliamentary support for the Government's financial policies.

For the 2026 fiscal year, the Ministry of Finance and Budget has been allocated a total of 681.76 billion FCFA in commitment appropriations (CA) and 676.35 billion FCFA in payment appropriations (PA). This allocation reflects the department's central role in public finance management, resource mobilization, tax control, debt management, state guarantees, and strategic funds.
