UASZ : Le Conseil académique rétablit les amicales et la coordination des étudiants
Nearly a year after their dissolution, the student associations and the coordination of the Assane Seck University of Ziguinchor (UASZ) have been rehabilitated.
Meeting on November 11, 2025, the Academic Council lifted the measure taken in November 2024, according to a statement signed by the rector, Professor Alassane Diédhiou.
The administration announces the preparation of eligibility criteria for the renewal of student associations and calls on students to "maintain a calm and open dialogue".
As a reminder, the dissolution was decided in the midst of a university crisis, marked by a student strike for better social and educational conditions.
