[Exclusif] Jaxaay : Un individu arrêté pour le viol de 5 garçons appâtés par une Playstation
The Jaxaay district police station, headed by Commissioner Cheikh Ndiaye, has taken into custody a Ghanaian national identified as Ivans Abotxy, 35 years old, a fisherman residing in Jaxaay Unit 15. He is being prosecuted for abduction of minors, unnatural acts, pedophilia and rape, according to exclusive information from Seneweb.
The incident began on Wednesday, March 11, when police were contacted by Mr. Mbaye, the neighborhood representative for Unit 15. He reported that the suspect was about to be lynched by an angry mob who accused him of sexually abusing their children. Alerted, officers from the police station's Criminal Investigation Unit were immediately dispatched to the scene to prevent the lynching and arrest the suspect.
According to neighborhood representative Mr. Mbaye, the suspect lives in the area. Around 5:00 PM, a group of men and women allegedly stormed his room, accusing him of having sexual relations with their children. Upon learning of the situation, he went to the location and observed several children leaving Ivans Abotxy's room.
The PlayStation trap
Mr. A. Diallo, father of the victim, 7-year-old M. Diallo, explained that he was asleep when young M. Sy, the son of his roommate, came to tell his mother that the suspect had asked him to take off his underwear. When he refused, the suspect allegedly chased him out of his room. The child also confided that other boys were inside.
Alerted, A. Diallo immediately went to the alleged assailant's home accompanied by Mr. Sy. After knocking on the door, a child who was in the room answered. To his great surprise, he said he found his son sitting on the suspect's lap. When questioned about this, Ivans Abotxy reportedly replied that he was showing the child how to play PlayStation. According to him, several other children were in the room, but many fled in the confusion.
Five victims identified, the investigation continues
Five victims have been identified so far: C. Ly (10 years old), M. Diallo (7 years old), I. Diallo (9 years old), A. Touré (10 years old), and TA Diallo (8 years old). All stated that they were raped by Ivans Abotxy. According to their testimonies, the suspect lured them to his room under the pretext of teaching them how to play PlayStation before raping them. He then offered them money or candy to buy their silence. Young M. Diallo even claims that the accused penetrated him that same day.
Requests have been issued to qualified personnel to conduct the necessary medical examinations. Furthermore, investigators suspect the existence of other victims and are continuing their investigations to identify them. The public prosecutor at the Pikine-Guédiawaye court, Saliou Dicko, has been informed of the case.
