Homos surpris à Keur Mbaye Fall : gros rebondissement
The case that has been shaking the Poste district of Keur Mbaye Fall since the night of April 17-18 has taken a new turn with the arrest of a third suspect, reports L'Observateur.
T. Guèye, A. Dial, and M. Bâ were brought before the prosecutor and formally charged, then remanded in custody by the investigating judge of the second chamber. The first two are being prosecuted for "acts against nature" and "intentional transmission of HIV," while the third is charged with "endangering the lives of others."
It all started with a nighttime discovery, as reported by the Groupe Futurs Médias newspaper. Intrigued by noises coming from her cousin's room, a young girl opened the door and caught him naked with another man. The family was quickly alerted, sparking a commotion in the neighborhood. A hostile crowd gathered and threatened to attack the two men. The intervention of the gendarmes from the Industrial Free Zone ultimately allowed them to be extracted and averted a tragedy.
According to the same source, the investigation took a more sensitive turn after medical examinations conducted at a health facility in Sicap-Mbao. According to multiple sources, the two main suspects tested positive for HIV, a finding that led to the charge of "intentional transmission," thus aggravating their legal situation.
The three suspects, who are being held in custody at Rebeuss prison, remain at the disposal of the justice system, as the investigation continues.
