Following a complaint filed on October 24, 2025, by the victim, the Parcelles Assainies district police station arrested the suspect on November 2, 2025. This individual is accused of collecting obscene data concerning the victim and threatening to disseminate it.

During her hearing, the complainant stated that she had been contacted by phone by the accused. Under the pretext of having dialed the wrong number, he allegedly initiated a romantic relationship with her.

According to the police investigation, the suspect subsequently invited the victim to the BCEAO beach. The young woman stated that she refused his advances and attempts to have sexual relations.

A few days later, the man allegedly invited her back to the Patte d'Oie area to give her some money. Upon arriving at the meeting, the victim stated that the man again tried to have sex with her. When she refused, he allegedly withheld the money in an attempt to force her to comply.

The complainant later added that the accused had contacted her by phone to inform her that he possessed her obscene videos. He then allegedly began blackmailing her, threatening to publish the videos on social media if she refused and demanded sexual relations with him.

In front of investigators, the victim stated that the accused had told her he obtained the videos from a third party with whom she had previously had relations.

When questioned about the facts, the accused admitted to possessing the videos, claiming to have obtained them via a WhatsApp group where they had been published by the third party in question.

Charged with illegally collecting obscene data and threatening to disseminate it (blackmail), the accused was brought before the prosecutor's office.
