Poudre de bébé et ecstasy : Coup de filet de la police contre un trafic de drogue à Fatick
Three individuals were arrested by the Regional Narcotics Brigade (BRS) of Fatick on November 30, 2025. They are being prosecuted for criminal association and international drug trafficking.
Alerted to drug trafficking in the area, the police set up a surveillance and intervention operation to arrest the traffickers. Their operations led to the arrest of the first suspect at the Fatick bus station. He was taken to the Brigade headquarters for a search. Police discovered two bottles of baby powder in his bag, in which he had concealed 114 ecstasy pills, and a small bag of skunk hashish in the first bottle.
In the second bottle, they found 74 more pills.
The second suspect was later found, accompanied by a woman. They were taken to the station. Under questioning, this second suspect admitted to owning the 74 pills, which he claimed were for his personal use.
As for the woman, her involvement is believed to be linked to an invitation extended to her by one of the two men involved. However, she declined to comment on the nature of the invitation.
The three individuals were brought before the public prosecutor and the investigation is ongoing.
