TAMBACOUNDA : 2 ans de prison, dont 6 mois ferme pour l'amant qui a divulgué les vidéos intimes de sa maitresse mariée
Moussa Diallo, charged with disseminating images contrary to public morality, was found guilty by the Tambacounda High Court. At last Wednesday's hearing, he was sentenced to two years in prison, six months of which were to be served. In court, he admitted the charges.
This is an intimate video that the defendant sent to the husband of a woman, a civil party in this case, with whom he had sexual relations.
Moussa Diallo and F. Sow, 20, married and mother of one, met in the Saré Guilel neighborhood of Tambacounda. A romantic relationship began, in full view of the entire neighborhood. They had sexual intercourse several times. The problem was that Moussa Diallo filmed his lovemaking with the young woman until the day his lover showed the images to the young woman before sending them to her family members, friends, and the husband of his partner living in Guinea. The young woman ended up being the laughingstock of her neighborhood and especially of her in-laws living in Guinea. Her husband, after receiving these images, filed for divorce.
Unable to bear it any longer, the victim filed a complaint with the Tambacounda gendarmerie's investigation unit. The gendarmes hatched a plan to catch the unscrupulous lover, asking the woman to arrange a meeting. This was done. The police set up a stakeout around the indicated location. Moussa Diallo was arrested upon arrival and taken to the police station.
At the police station, Mrs. F. Sow maintained that she had entered into a romantic relationship, without realizing the seriousness of her actions, but that she had only slept with her lover once. The latter admitted the facts with which he was accused. He was brought before the public prosecutor and sent to prison.
After recounting the facts, the deputy prosecutor requested a two-year sentence, including four months in prison, for Moussa Diallo. However, in its deliberations, the court toughened the sentence. Moussa Diallo was found guilty and sentenced to two years in prison, including six months in prison, and a fine of 100,000 CFA francs. He will have to pay his girlfriend 500,000 CFA francs in damages.
