23 migrants à Mbour: Un présumé organisateur arrêté par la gendarmerie

On Friday, September 5, 2025, a joint operation conducted by the Joal Territorial Brigade, with the support of the Mbour Research Brigade, in the villages of Mbodiène and its surroundings, led to the arrest of twenty-three (23) candidates for irregular emigration, all of Senegalese nationality. In addition, an individual suspected of being the organizer of this convoy was arrested.
The National Gendarmerie reaffirms its commitment to the fight against this scourge and calls on the population to be vigilant.
