«Je sais comment ils peuvent être» : la supposée maîtresse de David Beckham se mêle à l’affaire entre Brooklyn et ses parents
While Brooklyn Beckham revealed on Instagram the reasons for his estrangement from his family, Rebecca Loos, David Beckham's alleged former mistress, spoke out to defend the 26-year-old.
Since Brooklyn Beckham's recent revelations about the tensions between him and his parents, reactions have been pouring in from all sides. On Monday, January 19, David and Victoria Beckham's eldest son posted a lengthy message on Instagram explaining that his parents had tried to "ruin" his relationship with his wife, Nicola Peltz, and that he had no intention of reconciling with them. Following the publication of this message, David Beckham's alleged former mistress, Rebecca Loos, responded.
The woman who, in 2003, revealed she had had a relationship with the former footballer while she was his employee, spoke out on Instagram. "I'm so glad he's finally standing up for himself and speaking out publicly!!!! I felt so bad for his poor wife, knowing all too well how they (Victoria and David Beckham) can be!" the former personal assistant, now a yoga instructor, responded to a now-deleted comment on one of her Instagram posts, according to Page Six. "The truth always comes out," she wrote in response to another comment.
"I don't want to reconcile with my family."
In his Instagram story, Brooklyn Beckham listed the numerous events that led him to distance himself from his family. "My parents have relentlessly tried to ruin my relationship since before I was married, and it hasn't stopped," he wrote. "I'm not being controlled, I'm standing up for myself for the first time in my life. I don't want to reconcile with my family." He also explained that his mother had "canceled Nicola's dress" shortly before their 2022 wedding, claiming that his parents had "disrespected" his wife.
Furthermore, Victoria Beckham was also reportedly responsible for an embarrassing incident on the wedding day. Stealing the spotlight from the couple, she decided to cancel the first dance so that her son could dance with her. "In front of our 500 guests, Marc Anthony called me on stage. The program included a romantic dance with my wife, but it was my mother who was waiting to dance with me," Brooklyn Beckham recalled. "She danced very inappropriately in front of everyone. I have never felt so uncomfortable and humiliated in my entire life."
"The Beckham brand comes first."
Throughout his message, the eldest son accused his parents of constantly controlling their media image, even at the expense of family ties, calling their relationship "inauthentic." "My family values public promotion and endorsements more than anything else. The Beckham brand comes first," he wrote. "For years, we went to great lengths to be present at every fashion show, every party, and every media event to present our perfect family. But the one time my wife asked my mother to help rescue dogs displaced by the Los Angeles fires, my mother refused." These shocking revelations confirm the rumors of discord that have been swirling around the Beckham family for several months.
