Last July, Astronomer CEO Andy Byron was spotted hugging one of his female colleagues at a concert by Coldplay singer Chris Martin in Boston. The rather embarrassing moment was captured on camera during the artist's performance.
A few weeks after these events, Andy Byron was placed on leave.
They had split amicably several weeks before the Coldplay concert.
Kristin Cabot, the woman he was hugging that night, was, in fact, his company's human resources director.
Her husband, Andrew Cabot, recently broke his silence on the affair through his spokesperson. The man told People magazine that Andrew and Kristin had amicably separated several weeks before the Coldplay concert. "Their decision to divorce was already underway before that night," he added.
"Now that the divorce filing is public, Andrew hopes it will put an end to speculation and preserve his family's privacy."
Kristin Cabot has not yet responded.
