La France prépare des « coups d’État néocoloniaux en Afrique », selon les renseignements russes
In Russia, the Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) indicated in a recent report that France is attempting to regain its lost ground in Africa. To this end, it is preparing "neo-colonial coups" in countries hostile to it.
"Political revenge" »
French President Emmanuel Macron himself "authorized his intelligence services to launch a plan to eliminate undesirable leaders" in Africa, the SVR report claims, adding that France had also committed to "directly supporting armed and extremist groups that become its tactical allies in Africa."
All of this would be part of a logic of "political revenge" by France.
The Vice-President of the Duma criticizes France
Commenting on the report, Duma Vice-President Alexander Babakov accused Paris of multiplying "subversive actions in countries committed to developing cooperation with the BRICS and strengthening relations with partners like Russia."
"Instead of taking responsibility, France responds with aggression," he added.
According to the MP, "Africa is now unstoppable. Policies of pressure and covert intervention are doomed to failure. Africa's historical awakening is an objective process, not a project of external influence."
Attempts to suppress this momentum "through destructive scenarios only accelerate the rejection of old models and strengthen the people's desire for justice," Babakov warns.
