Les cours du pétrole dégringolent de 3% après les propos apaisants de Donald Trump sur l'Iran
Oil prices fell by more than 3% on Thursday, January 15, after comments by US President Donald Trump asserting that the "killings" in Iran "have ended" and delaying a US military intervention. Around 2:00 AM GMT, the price of West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude was down 3% at $60.16 a barrel, and Brent crude from the North Sea was down 2.87% at $64.61 a barrel. Crude oil prices had surged in recent days, reaching a closing level on January 14 not seen in three months, fueled by rising tensions in Iran, shaken by a popular uprising that was violently suppressed, and threats from Washington against Tehran. But the market plummeted at the start of Asian trading following Donald Trump's remarks.
