P. Diddy : Le témoignage émouvant de ses enfants avant sa condamnation à plus de 4 ans de prison

In the United States, a New York court sentenced rapper and producer P. Diddy to 50 months in prison on Friday, October 3, for transporting people for prostitution, the sole charge against him, last July after two long months of debate. Before the verdict was delivered, the rapper's children spoke to Judge Arun Subramanian to plead for clemency.

"We know he's not perfect, (but) Your Honor, he's still our father."

Quincy, one of the boys, said his father was now a "changed man."

He "always taught me to treat women with respect," added his brother Christian.

His sisters, equally affected by their father's setbacks, echoed his sentiments.

"We know he's not perfect, (but) Your Honor, he's still our father," Jessie told the judge.

Chance, for her part, spoke of the "huge void" she felt after her father's incarceration last year. "We're still just girls who need our dad," she added, assuring that Diddy is now working to become "a better man."

The hip-hop mogul himself addressed the court, apologizing to his ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura.

“One of the hardest things I had to deal with was having to stay silent and not express regret for my actions. I don’t take that lightly. I want to apologize to Cassie Ventura and her family. I want to apologize to all victims of domestic violence. I know that disgusting video moved people. I was sick, sick from drugs. I needed help. But I didn’t get help,” he said.

The rapper-producer then promised to "never again" use violence against "anyone."
