TikTok : le parquet de Paris ouvre une enquête préliminaire sur les effets psychologiques du réseau social
TikTok is the subject of an investigation following a report by MP Arthur Delaporte (PS), who denounced in particular the algorithm of the Chinese giant "likely to push the most vulnerable towards suicide".
Is the promotion of suicide at the heart of the TikTok algorithm? The Paris prosecutor's office opened a preliminary investigation on Tuesday into the algorithm of the Chinese platform following a report by a parliamentary inquiry committee on the psychological effects of the application on minors, announced the Paris prosecutor, Laure Beccuau.
The investigation focuses on several offenses. Investigators are particularly interested in "propaganda in favor of products, objects, or methods recommended as means of committing suicide," an offense punishable by three years' imprisonment and a fine of €45,000, according to a statement from the prosecutor. They are also investigating "providing an online platform to facilitate an illegal transaction by an organized group."

A platform that is "easy for minors to access"
Socialist MP Arthur Delaporte, chairman of the parliamentary inquiry committee, had denounced the "ease of access" for "minors" to the TikTok algorithm, "likely to push" the most "vulnerable towards suicide".
In September, the commission recommended banning social networks for those under 15 and a "digital curfew" for 15-18 year olds to try to stem an "algorithmic trap" dangerous for younger people.
The investigation has been entrusted to the Cybercrime Unit (BL2C) of the Paris police headquarters.

TikTok ne crée pas de Fous. C'est tous les Fous qui s'y dirigent, jeunes comme moins jeunes.
Statistiquement, il y'a plus de chances qu'il s'y passe des betises.

En tous cas nos députés devraient exiger de tiktok d'entrainer leurs robots à la comprehension et detection des mots wolofs comme c'est fait en français pour bien modérer certains panels et les bloquer en cas d'utilisation de certains termes. En France Tiktok le fait trés bien...
On entend même les animateurs de ces panels salaces exiger à leur appelant de bannir tout mot en français tandis que nos jeunes enfants passent leur temps à les suivre
Cette assemblée de dormeurs semble être loin des préoccupations des sénégalais. Je ne les vois porter aucune lois pour reguler et mieux maitriser ce terrain de jeu numerique
