Affaire Anamo : Ce qui a empêché l’audition au fond de Maodo Malick Mbaye

Extracted yesterday from the special pavilion for a substantive hearing, the former head of the National Agency for the House of Tools (Anamo), Maodo Malick Mbaye, was ultimately not questioned by the Financial Judicial Pool (PJF).

According to Seneweb , the hearing was postponed indefinitely , according to one of his lawyers, Me Ndiaga Dabo, because of an incomplete file.

According to the defense, Maodo Malick Mbaye could be questioned on the merits in the coming days. Following this hearing, his legal team intends to file a new request for provisional release.

In the so-called "Anamo" case, Maodo Malick Mbaye was indicted and then remanded in custody on July 22, 2025, by the judge of the second chamber of the Financial Judicial Pool. He is being prosecuted for criminal conspiracy, fraud, embezzlement of public funds amounting to more than 600 million FCFA, forgery and use of forged administrative and commercial documents, as well as money laundering.
