Dame Amar : le dossier classé, il retourne à Rebeuss pour purger sa peine
The day before, Seneweb revealed that Dame Amar, facing new legal problems, was taken from her cell in Rebeuss . This move followed her conviction, on September 10, to one month in prison and a fine of 150,000 CFA francs for drug possession and use, as well as for corruption, for having tried to sell her freedom.
According to Les Echos , the son of the late Ameth Amar was questioned in a case initiated by Serigne Mbacké Gueye, known as Baye Fall, who was suing him for one million CFA francs. After Dame Amar repaid the sum, the prosecutor decided to close the case without further action.
The dispute, which dates back to 2021-2022, concerns a transaction involving the sale of a car. A close friend of Dame Amar, quoted by the newspaper, swears that the amount paid represented a simple loan, while Baye Fall maintains that it was a deposit for the purchase of the vehicle.
Dame Amar was returned to his cell to serve the remainder of his sentence.
