«Diomaye et Sonko en danger» : Fatou Kiné Cissé contre-attaque
Lawyer Seyba Danfakha filed an appeal Friday against the sentencing of his client, arms dealer Fatou Kiné Cissé, to two years in prison, one of which is to be served, for spreading false information and damaging the image of the National Gendarmerie. The appeal was registered under number 563, Les Échos reports.
That's not all, continues the same source: the black dress also announced its intention to file a request for provisional release next week.
During the trial, the prosecution had requested a six-month prison sentence because Fatou Kiné Cissé was being prosecuted for having publicly declared that the security of President Bassirou Diomaye Faye and Prime Minister Ousmane Sonko was threatened.
In court, the defendant claimed that she had only expressed an opinion, before apologizing to the court.
