On October 10, the Dakar Commercial Court rejected Ebene SA's appeal against the sale of the Savana Hotel. The company, a creditor of the former management and an unsuccessful bidder, opposed the sale.
In its decision, the court ruled the opposition inadmissible and upheld the order of April 22, 2024, authorizing the sale of the establishment and all its assets to the Parainvest/CSE consortium for an amount of 10.5 billion CFA francs.
The buyer also agreed to pay the salary arrears owed for several years to the hotel's former employees, reports Libération.
