« J’ai peur de lui » : Cassie implore la justice de maintenir P. Diddy en détention
The rapper, convicted last July on prostitution-related charges, will be sentenced this Friday, October 3, 2025. Cassie, who testified on the stand about her abusive 11-year relationship with the rapper, recounted the impact of the abuse in a letter to Judge Arun Subramanian. She revealed that she left New York State with her family, fearing "retaliation" against her from Sean Combs.
"Even though I have made great progress in recovering from his abuse, I am still very afraid of what he is capable of and the malice he undoubtedly harbors toward me for having the courage to speak the truth," she said in her letter to the judge in the case.
Before the judge delivers his verdict, each party submits a brief to support their request for a sentence and to which they can add letters in support of their client. Sean Combs's mother, Janice, wrote in requesting clemency for her son, explaining that he made "mistakes" but that he has changed.
