Wanted by police for several days, the young wrestler from the suburbs, Dame Junior, was arrested on Monday, December 15, after turning himself in to the Guédiawaye central police station. He was taken into custody for obstructing police work and harboring criminals, according to Seneweb sources.

As a reminder, on Friday, December 12, officers from the Guédiawaye Central Police Station's Urban Security Investigation Brigade, on routine patrol, received information reporting that individuals belonging to wrestler Dame Junior's entourage were robbing passersby near the Dial Mbaye roundabout. The police intervention led to the arrest of two suspects caught in the act of armed robbery. They are tailor S. Camara and ceiling installer A. Ba, both 25 years old and residents of Wakhinane.

It was at this point that the brother of wrestler Dame Junior violently resisted the arrest of his two assailants. According to the police, he brandished a knife to confront the officers of the BR (Brigade de Répression du Banditisme - Brigade for the Repression of Violence). He and his gang fiercely resisted the police, who eventually arrested him.

Wrestler Dame Junior then intervened personally and violently to prevent his brother's arrest. Taking advantage of the confusion, his brother fled.

But during the confrontation, police officer SD, head of the Guédiawaye urban security brigade, was seriously wounded in the abdomen with a bladed weapon and hospitalized at King Baudouin Hospital. The bladed weapon used in the attack was seized and confiscated by investigators for the purposes of the investigation.
