Tribunal de Dakar : La sentence est tombée pour Bougar Diouf
On Wednesday, August 27, 2025, Bougar Diouf, a computer scientist and member of the "Diomaye President" coalition, appeared before the Dakar flagrante delicto court for spreading false news. His Facebook comments, relaying a post by activist Akhenaton, urged Ousmane Sonko to ask Casamance rebels to stop buying weapons from Paris and Turkey, suggesting their use against the Senegalese army.
These comments, deemed likely to disturb public order, led to his summons by the Special Cybersecurity Division (DSC) on August 21, followed by police custody on August 22 and remand in custody on August 25, 2025. In court, Bougar Diouf contested the offense, while standing by his comments: "I am the head of a political party. I do not publish information. During a debate on the employers at the Prime Minister's office, I commented on a post by Akhenaton. Malicious people captured my comment and distributed it elsewhere." Asked about his sources, he stated: "This information comes from the website lepays.com. DSC investigators checked it and found even more. I discovered this site via a comment by Guy Marius Sagna."
The judge also noted another comment by Diouf: "The placement of General Kandé is an attempt to weaken our army," to which he replied: "I said that as a computer scientist." Upon questioning by his lawyer, Alioune Badara Fall, he apologized: "I recognize that I used excessive words. I did not mean to offend anyone. If my remarks offended, I apologize in good faith."
The prosecutor, believing that these statements undermined institutions, requested a six-month prison sentence, three of which would be suspended. The defense, led by Mr. Fall, argued for a suspended sentence, citing Article 704 of the Code of Criminal Procedure. The court ultimately sentenced Bougar Diouf to one month in prison.

Aujourdh8 on ne nous dit pas que le FMI a donne raison a au menteur sonko, mais ils se plaisent de dire le FMI felicite le senegal. Biensur le FMI va feliciter les faibles.
