Tribunal de Dakar : Ndeye Marie Sow face au juge après la plainte de sa tante
The Ndeye Marie Sow case is far from over. The young woman, who has been seeking custody of her ailing mother for several months, will appear before a judge this Tuesday, January 27, at the Dakar courthouse. This hearing follows a complaint filed by her maternal aunt, who currently acts as the mother's guardian.
The story, which continues to make headlines on social media, pits a daughter who returned home to care for her mother against her aunt, the mother's younger sister. The aunt accuses her niece of having "posted her on social media," thus exposing her to a wave of public insults.
In addition to these image-related grievances, Ndeye Marie Sow will also have to answer to accusations of threats and violence made by the complainant.
At the heart of the conflict, the issue of changing guardianship remains pending before the courts despite the young woman's numerous media appearances. As an only child, now of legal age, she is claiming full custody of her mother and control of her assets. She vehemently denounces the behavior of her aunt who, according to her, has "completely excluded" her from her mother's life and inheritance.
