Ziguinchor- Faux documents : Trois personnes déférées dont deux agents municipaux
The National Division for Combating Migrant Smuggling (DNTL) has referred three individuals to the Ziguinchor prosecutor's office on charges of forgery and trafficking of false documents, according to information gathered.
Those arrested are alleged to have engaged in the falsification of Senegalese and Guinean identity documents.
Several hundred national identity cards, as well as falsified birth certificates and marriage certificates, were found on one of the arrested suspects. These fraudulent documents implicate municipal employees.
The investigation is ongoing.
