CAN Maroc 2025 : le CNRA exige les justificatifs de droits de retransmission au Sénégal
The Assembly of the National Audiovisual Regulatory Council (CNRA) announced in a press release published today that "the retransmission, distribution and broadcasting of international sporting competitions, including the matches of the Africa Cup of Nations (CAN) Morocco 2025, are subject to the prior acquisition of specific rights."
Therefore, the body calls on the rights holders to send it the supporting documents attesting to the possession of these rights.
"In accordance with the regulations, the CNRA invites publishers, distributors and broadcasters who intend to retransmit, distribute or broadcast the matches of the Africa Cup of Nations Morocco 2025 in Senegalese territory, to make available to it the proof of their rights relating thereto no later than Wednesday, December 10, 2025 at 12:00 p.m.," the regulatory body informs.
She also recalled that, in accordance with Article 7 of Law No. 2006-04 of January 4, 2006, the CNRA's mission is to ensure free, fair and healthy competition between audiovisual communication companies operating in Senegal.
