Honorable Bacary Diédhiou : "Thierno Alassane Sall qui parle d'un scandale à ASER a fui la séance de commission avec le ministère de l'Energie"
Thierno Alassane Sall, MP and leader of the Republic of Values/Réewum Ngor party, has consistently expressed concern about the alleged scandal at ASER. On television, radio, and in newspapers, he has repeatedly denounced irregularities in the rural electrification contract awarded by ASER to AEE Power EPC, alleging the embezzlement of 37 billion CFA francs. Sall even went so far as to file a complaint against ASER with the Financial Judicial Pool to ensure the truth about this matter is revealed.
Even better, Thierno Alassane Sall had toured the departments of Kébémer and Louga to verify concretely the rates of completion, the materiality of the ongoing construction sites as well as the availability of the equipment installed by ASER.
Despite all this determination, MP Bacary Diedhiou pointed out that Thierno Alassane Sall missed a great opportunity by being absent from committee work with the Ministry of Energy.
"We are in committee session with the Minister of Energy, Petroleum and Mines with the presence of the Directors of this ministry including Jean Michel Sène, Director of ASER. The MP TAS who is going around the sets to talk about an imaginary scandal has fled, preferring not to face the talented and tenacious young Director," announced Bacary Diédhiou.
He is therefore asking Thierno Alassane Sall not to wait for the plenary session, in front of the cameras, to deafen people.
"Yet, TAS was here this morning. How could he be absent when we are discussing a subject that concerns him?", the MP wondered.
