Appel des layènes : La ziara de Ousmane Sonko auprès de Serigne Mouhamadou Lamine Laye
In the lead-up to the 146th edition of the Layene Call, the Prime Minister paid a visit to the Khalif Serigne Mouhamadou Lamine Laye in Cambérène. Ousmane Sonko was accompanied by a large delegation, which included Malick Ndiaye, President of the National Assembly, and several members of the government.
"We have come on behalf of the President of the Republic, who is traveling, to pay our respects for this important event on the Senegalese national agenda, an important event for Islam and for national unity," the Head of Government told the General Khalif of the Layene.
Ousmane Sonko emphasized that this is not the first time he and his colleagues have visited this religious compound. What has changed, he said, is simply the context. "I used to come here as a party leader at a time when it was difficult for some to welcome Ousmane Sonko and accept him. Those who dared to do so were those who weren't afraid of being held against them by others, such as the State. But here, the Layene doors have always been open to me," Ousmane Sonko stated.
Claiming his friendship with the current leadership of the Layene family, Ousmane Sonko asserted that during the turbulent period, the man who is now the Khalif General of the Layene community always welcomed him with open arms. "In public as well as in private," he said. "What has changed today is simply that we have left the opposition to join the government. But everything else remains unchanged," he affirmed.
Regarding religious concessions, the head of government indicated that their intention is to do even more, despite the country's "difficult budgetary situation." He even noted that for the first time, in 2026, "funding for religious affairs has been allocated in the state budget."
The general caliph of the Layennes, who praised the remarks of the head of government, confirmed the close relationship he maintains with the prime minister and leader of Pastef. He closed the discussions with prayers for the country: "May God guide the country onto the right path, may He grant us peace and harmony," he said.

Pour le moment je ne vais te citer aucun verset j’attends tes arguments de ta condamnation ensuite on ira dans le coran pour que je te prouve que si tu ne fais pas comme c’est toi qui sera le perdant.
