Cardinal Robert Sarah : L’avortement «c’est un assassinat »
Recently invited to the Cnews television channel, Guinean Cardinal Robert Sarah commented on Pope Leo XIV's visit to Monaco. He noted that the principality's Christian values influence its governance. Prince Albert II, for example, opposed the legalization of abortion.
"Killing a child is a crime."
For Cardinal Robert Sarah, this is good news. "Of course, it is commendable that a government says no to abortion because it is still a shame that some governments legalize abortion. Killing a child is a crime, it is murder, especially an innocent child," declared the Guinean Cardinal.
He believes that life must be defended, because taking the side of life is "defending God who is life".
"We must respect this life because it is a gift from God."
“To speak of God, one must speak of life, and life begins with the child, from the moment of conception. We must respect this life because it is a gift from God,” the prelate continued. It should be noted that abortion is legal in France, as well as in some African countries such as Benin.
