Gamou de Médina Baye : Le comité d'organisation titre un bilan satisfaisant
The Fayda Events and Activities Organizing Committee (COMAF) said it was more than 90% satisfied with the organization of the Medina Baye Niasse Kaolack International Gamou, said deputy coordinator Cheikh Tidiane Gaye during the press briefing.
COMAF praised the mobilization of young people and women in welcoming pilgrims from diverse backgrounds. They also praised the support of local authorities in matters of security, sanitation, and health, among other things.
Furthermore, religious authorities have called for the drilling of a new borehole to overcome the lack of water, especially during the Gamou period.
