Thienaba : Le Khalife général réclame plus de "considération" des autorités étatiques
The General Caliph of Thiénaba, Baye Serigne Assane Seck, is demanding more "consideration" from state authorities towards the holy city of Amary Ndack Seck.
"Thienaba is one of the first religious centers in the country, in terms of seniority," recalled the General Caliph, before the delegation that came to represent the former President of the Republic Macky Sall, led by the former Prime Minister Me Sidiki Kaba, with at his side the honorable deputy Abdou Mbow, the former minister Néné Fatoumata Tall among others.
An audience during which Baye Serigne Assane Seck spoke extensively about the work and life of the founder of this Islamic sanctuary, Mame Amary Ndack Seck. In front of his distinguished guests, the marabout recalled his last audience with President Bassirou Diomaye Diakhar Faye, to whom he had made it clear that Thiénaba, given the central place it occupies, deserves that the State include it in its priorities.
Also to remember that the City of Mame Amary Ndack Seck is well before many religious cities in this country, because its founder is from the generation of Baye Tafsir Demba Bouna, Baye Bounana Kounta, Baye Moulaye Bousso, Baye Mbacké Marame etc...
